We’ve just secured a fast track contract in Shoreditch for Egdewater Ltd of Ireland.This contract is to water proof a very large open space basement carpark in order to allow its conversion to a habitable space for the UK’s first Mama Shelter hotel.
The RE hotel chain is a designer-budget boutique hotel and restaurant operator.
The hotel is located in a prime location just one mile from London’s Financial District in The City of London and Liverpool Street Station meaning it’s in a very busy and popular area.
The location is popular for both business professionals and tourists.
The Challenge
The hotel has shut down over the festive period with the intention of re-opening in 2019. The repercussions of not re-opening on time as planned, and in line with the program, is something all parties are aware of. Meticulous planning of trades is imperative at all times.
The Strategy
We only have a 26-day window within the main contractor’s program and we much achieve this deadline with our water proofing works to avoid delays.
Our plan is to utilise the whole of our labour-force in site from the beginning to the end to meet this deadline.
